This article is intended for customers who currently use or plan to use, either:

SAP SuccessFactors Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText (xECM), or
SAP SuccessFactors Document Management Core by OpenText (Core)

The 2H 2025 release delivers two important enhancements to SAP SuccessFactors integration with OpenText.

1. OAuth 2.0 authentication for outbound calls to OpenText

OAuth 2.0 is now available as the authentication method when configuring the Document Management connection from SuccessFactors to OpenText. OAuth 2.0 is an industry-standard authorization protocol that improves security and simplifies integration compared with basic (user ID/password) authentication.

2. Multithreading enhancement for Document Migration to OpenText

The migration process for moving documents from SuccessFactors to OpenText now runs more efficiently, with new settings that give greater control over speed and reliability.
