Exciting news! We recently introduced new career portal features designed to benefit your SEO, enhance user experience, and provide you with some unique URLs for sharing your job postings.

Career Portal Feature #1: Recruiter Bio Landing Pages

If you use Recruiter Bios, candidates now have the option to click on the recruiter’s name to take them to a page for that specific recruiter. This landing page lists information added for that recruiter (their email, specialties, a bio, their LinkedIn profile, etc.) and a list of their job postings.

This is a great way to help candidates get to know your recruiters and personalize your career portal. Your team also gets unique URLs for each recruiter so they can share their jobs and more about themselves!

Don’t use Recruiter Bios yet? If you’re interested, check with Success (success@haleymarketing.com) to see if your career portal accommodates this feature!

Career Portal Feature #2: Location Landing Pages

When a candidate clicks the location on your job postings, they are now taken to a new page with information about that city, as well as other job postings in that city that are on your career portal. The description is AI-generated, but from MyHaley you can change this content to whatever you prefer.

Are you posting a job in a great area? Make sure to highlight it and what makes that location so awesome!

Career Portal Feature #3: Category Descriptions and Landing Pages

On your job postings, candidates now have the option to click on the category on each job posting. Once clicked, they are taken to a page that displays a brief description and list of jobs in that specific category. The description is AI-generated, but you do have the option to update this verbiage to whatever you prefer through MyHaley.

How do these features help your SEO? And what other benefits do they provide?

More pages create opportunities for improved internal linking, which makes it easier for search engines to crawl and index your career portal. Internal linking also enhances user experience by allowing career portal visitors to find related jobs in categories and locations they are interested in. Each new page lets you add more valuable content and additional keywords, broadening your website’s visibility across different search queries.

Another great benefit is you get new URLs to share on social media sites, in emails, etc. to showcase your job postings.

Stay tuned for some upcoming features, including Magic Match and Jobsbot:

  • Magic Match is designed to help candidates find jobs that match their resume.
  • Jobsbot is a chatbot on the Career Portal. Candidates can enter information about the job they are looking for and it will provide suggestions of open job postings that meet the candidate’s criteria. The candidate can even apply right from the bot once some job suggestions are provided!
