InfoMart, a leading global background check company, has taken the first step in its Pledge 1% commitment by organizing a kit-building drive for Nashville’s Sexual Assault Center at the 2023 WBENC National Conference. Fellow women-owned companies Improve Growth, Innolect, Prelude Solutions, and Spirit Sox USA donated to the event. WBENC’s attendees bundled these donations into backpacks that were then donated to SAC.
The kit-building drive was a major success, providing essential supplies and materials for survivors of sexual assault. “These bags will go a long way to help survivors on their healing journeys,” said Anna Culver, Advocacy and SAFE Clinic Administrator of SAC. “We are grateful to be the recipient.”
The kit-building drive was just the beginning of InfoMart’s Pledge 1% commitment, which promises to donate one percent of the company’s time, equity, and/or resources annually to nonprofit organizations. Moving forward, InfoMart will also host corporate events in support of local organizations like the NW Metro Atlanta chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Trees Atlanta.
