We’re thrilled to announce the newest addition to the Haley Marketing team, André Pilette, stepping into the pivotal role of Marketing Quarterback.
So, what does a “Marketing QB” do?
Well, in André’s case, it’s all about providing strategic marketing leadership to staffing and recruiting firms. His primary goal is to develop and oversee the implementation of marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract top talent, and drive business growth for our clients in the staffing industry.
Let’s hear from André himself: “My career in marketing began as an intern for Haley Marketing Group in my freshman and sophomore summers in the late 90s. Not only was it a great summer job for a college kid, but I learned valuable lessons that have applied throughout my professional career.
“Now twenty-some years later, with a wide variety of experience in several different industries, it is with great pleasure that I get to return to where it all started in the newly created position of Marketing Quarterback for HMG,” André continued. “I look forward to rejoining the team, and I hope that I can bring a lot to the table to help the company continue to grow and thrive in an ever-changing marketplace.”
André’s journey has truly come full circle, as Co-CEO David Searns recalls: “A big welcome back to Haley Marketing’s very first intern! André worked for us back in the late 90s as a summer intern. After a career that included working for Google / Zagat, managing clubs in NYC, and creating the marketing department for Try-It distribution, André has returned to Team Haley to become our newest Marketing QB – providing fractional CMO services to our clients.”
Why did André choose Haley Marketing?
As a “boomerang” team member, having served as Haley Marketing’s first intern years back, André is glad to be back where his career took flight. His return underscores his trust in the Haley Marketing mission and its potential for his career growth.
A bit more about André:
Beyond his impressive professional achievements, André’s personal life is just as interesting. Recently married, he celebrated his 2-year anniversary, marking another milestone in his life journey. Over the last 4 years, André dedicated his time to building Buffalocal – a collective of breweries, cideries, and wineries in Western New York, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic marketing acumen.
Outside of work, André and his wife share a passion for traveling, whether it’s overseas, up to the Adirondacks, or down to the Big Apple. They’re always planning their next adventure, exploring new horizons together. He’s also an avid disc golfer, a live music fanatic, and, of course, a huge Buffalo Bills fan.
