The Requirement:

A group of people must be present mandatorily between 10:00 and 15:30.This only applies to employees who work full-time on that particular day – the full-time schedule constitutes a fixed time of 7 hours (in this case, the 7 hours are fixed, thus it is an important design consideration); if you have any ideas on how we could build this more efficiently or implement a solution that does not require hard-coding the 7 hours, please share them in the comment box.Part-time employees may also be included if they have a schedule that allows them to work full-time (7 hours or more) on a particular day.A full working week consists of 35 hours (5 days of 7 hours each).

The Challenges:

Implementing this validation with valuations can prevent users from entering time when they save their timesheets, so this option is not feasible.Validations within the time recording profile are limited and present the same issues when saving the timesheet.On the other hand, just using functions in business rules can complicate the overall solution.
