Modern Hire, the leading enterprise hiring platform for video interviewing and pre-hire assessments, today announced new languages for its Automated Interview Scoring (AIS), an on-demand interview technology that uses advanced artificial intelligence (AI) models to evaluate candidate responses and provide hiring teams with recommended scores. Building on the success of AIS for U.S.-based hiring, Modern Hire AIS will now be offered in 23 languages, including dialects, to support ethical and diverse hiring across the globe.

First launched in June 2021, Modern Hire’s AIS uses an advanced AI model trained on 1.5 million interview responses. Through extensive research and development, Modern Hire’s AI models were trained and analyzed to mitigate adverse impact and verified to reduce bias when compared to human raters. In fact, AIS has been shown to be over three times less biased than human interview scorers.

Taking unified business systems and employee engagement to the next level, Namely, the leading HR platform for mid-sized companies, today announced its integration with Slack. With users spending about 90 minutes per working day actively using it, Slack is the popular messaging platform that improves organizational communication and collaboration. In a recent survey of U.S.-based users, 95 percent said that using an app in Slack makes those tools even more valuable.

With the integration, Namely platform administrators will be able to easily configure announcements – such as newsfeed and appreciation posts – to push from Namely to a specified Slack channel. Everyone in the organization can post to the Newsfeed and instantly see the post in the Slack channel designated by the Namely admin. Now, HR and leadership teams can easily automate messages, including welcome messages for new hires, happy birthday posts, and anniversary celebrations. By celebrating employee recognition or new hires, organizations using the integration are providing leadership, managers and employees the ability to make updates in the tool they already use daily.

Haystack, the modern intranet company making big companies feel smaller, rolled out Connect—a feature that uses first-party employee-profile data to intelligently pair employees to support better work friendships, facilitate mentor-mentee relationships, and bring colleagues together on a deeper level. The feature is intended to alleviate pain points common for a remote workforce – such as the inability to brainstorm over lunch or celebrate each other’s successes in person – and help cultivate the types of long-lasting connections that can support employee retention and growth.
