Whats new in HR technology? Here’s a quick roundup of new features.
Landed, which provides the first mobile app connecting hourly food and retail workers with local employers, announced today a major product update to its app: Landed Hiring Events.
Landed Hiring Events allow employers to host recruiting events of any size. Landed invites, screens, schedules, and engages with candidates to bring them in for an employer’s in-person or virtual hiring event. Once hiring managers let Landed know the roles and characteristics they’re looking to fill, Landed handles all of the details and logistics, including coordinating all candidate communications, leading up to the event.
How Landed Mobile App works
Job seekers download the Landed Jobs mobile app and are guided through setting up their Landed candidate profile, which includes short videos plus details on their work experience, location, and shift availability. Candidates can then browse jobs available near them. Landed’s AI-based intelligent matching technology matches candidates with employers for whom they might be a fit.
Hiring managers download the Landed Employer mobile app, and input hiring goals such as role titles, headcount, pay rate and locations. Landed then presents the employer with candidates who are the best matches for their open positions based on its intelligent matching algorithm, driven by AI tech.
Namely, the HR platform for mid-sized companies, today announced the availability of Tell Us, an anonymous reporting platform.
Workplace harassment takes many forms, ranging from cyberbullying to physical stalking. Lacking a safe way to report it, many employees never gain resolution and, instead, wind up leaving an organization. As a result, employers lose valuable talent, damage their employment brands, and risk violation of anti-harassment laws.
Namely’s Tell Us offering includes a dedicated portal that enables employees to submit anonymized reports securely, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Employees can select their preferred confidentiality level, indicate whether they are reporting on behalf of themselves or someone else, share details of the parties involved and their role in the incident, and upload any relevant materials.
Once received, the employer can address, resolve, and follow up on the incident through masked, two-way communication with the individual who submitted the report. Tell Us works to manage and track the report from start to finish, ensuring proper documentation for anti-harassment governance, all from within the anonymous framework. The comprehensive solution enables consistent compliance programs that align with workplace requirements and regulatory standards to prevent costly litigation and mitigate reputational risk.
Restaurants and hospitality businesses across the country are finding thousands of qualified employees during the current recruiting crisis thanks to innovative hiring company foh&boh, which offers a user-friendly online platform that provides critical hiring assistance to hospitality businesses struggling to fill open positions and retain employees.
Following a successful capital raise in 2019, foh&boh was launched by veteran staffing-industry CEO Halle Hayes as a food tech company and has quickly accelerated to serve restaurants in over 50 markets with a sophisticated recruiting platform that provides a tight solution for major hospitality companies who struggle with staggering turn-over rates.
Meanwhile qualified employees seek to easily narrow professional opportunities among a sea of open positions. Foh&boh addresses “front of house” and “back of house” positions, hence the company name. Interaction and functionality of the platform, plus its deep applicant screening protocols and real-time interview features, make it highly unique within the industry, where applicants are no longer resume-centric.
