PHILADELPHIA — Workforce technology firm Phenom has announced the full agenda for AI Day 2026, its annual technical conference spotlighting how enterprise human resources and IT leaders can deploy autonomous AI agents across the talent lifecycle.

Scheduled to broadcast globally on September 17, 2026, the event aims to bridge the gap between early-stage AI demos and reliable enterprise-grade systems. Rather than focusing on high-level theory, the showcase will feature live looks at the underlying frameworks, ontologies, guardrails, and compliance testing required to run agentic systems at scale.

“Anyone can claim an agent screens candidates or plans a career path,” said Mahe Bayireddi, CEO and co-founder of Phenom. “We put the actual architecture, ontologies, guardrails, and testing on screen, so HR and IT leaders can see for themselves how it scales for the most complex global organizations.”

Key Focus Areas on the Agenda

The sessions cover the end-to-end employee and candidate lifecycle, highlighting several technical and operational challenges facing HR teams:

  • Synthetic Talent & Candidate Fraud: Live demonstrations of fraud-detection agents designed to identify synthetic profiles and deepfake applicants, using prompt-evolution methods to counter evolving tactics.
  • Autonomous Screening & Voice Agents: A technical look at voice agents built to detect natural conversation turns and maintain context during live candidate interviews, alongside automated coding assessments.
  • Governance and Adverse Impact Monitoring: Frameworks designed to satisfy emerging HR regulatory mandates and continuously monitor algorithmic decision-making for adverse impact.
  • Agentic Workflows from Intake to Preboarding: Demonstrations of autonomous systems coordinating candidate outreach, sourcing, compliance-tested job description writing, and onboarding support across channels such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp.

The virtual event is accredited by both SHRM and HRCI and will stream live from Phenom Studios starting at 10 a.m. EDT (4 p.m. CEST), with on-demand access available following the broadcast.
