New Adzuna CCO and Head of Sales

Adzuna, the smarter job search engine, is pleased to announce two key appointments with the promotion of Thomas De Schuyter to Chief Commercial Officer, and Gordon Smith joining Adzuna as UK Head of Sales, effective immediately. 

Thomas De Schuyter steps up as CCO

Thomas, who has been with Adzuna for nine years, takes on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Adzuna, moving up from Global Head of Operations. 

In his new role, he will oversee all of Adzuna’s commercial and marketing teams, as well as managing Adzuna’s overseas offices in Minneapolis (US) and Sydney (Australia). Thomas will play a central part in growing and scaling Adzuna, leading and building on existing relationships with programmatic and media agencies, job boards and direct employers.

Since joining Adzuna in 2015 as Country Manager for the Netherlands, Thomas has been instrumental in the growth of Adzuna’s global network, which now spans 19 countries, connecting millions of jobseekers and employers worldwide. Throughout his tenure, Thomas has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in marketing and business operations, earning him four well-deserved promotions.

Gordon Smith joins Adzuna as UK Head of Sales

In his new role as UK Head of Sales at Adzuna, Gordon Smith leads the UK sales team, driving Adzuna’s strategic growth initiatives and expanding commercial partnerships.

Gordon brings over 16 years of sales experience in the recruitment sector, having held senior positions at LinkedIn and Hired.com, where he played a key role in expanding both European and international presence and scaling high-performing sales operations. Most recently, Gordon served as Vice President of Revenue at Hubble, a London-based online marketplace for flexible offices.
