Ziprecruiter Improves its Resume Database

Read Time2 Minute, 20 Second

ZipRecruiter®, a leading online employment marketplace, today launched the next generation of its Resume Database, a proactive sourcing tool for employers to find qualified candidates in minutes. The new Resume Database gives employers control to find their next great hire faster than ever with cutting-edge search and filtering capabilities, instant access to candidate contact info, and fresh workflow management tools.

4 out of 5 job seekers would be more interested in a role if an employer reached out to them about it, and most are more likely to respond to employers who make the first move1. Additionally, more than 90% of employers say having a database of job seekers for proactive outreach speeds up the hiring process and saves them time2. With 350,000 resumes added to the ZipRecruiter platform monthly3, employers can access fresh resumes from active job seekers as soon as they hit the market.

“We completely revamped our Resume Database to take on the challenges employers face finding talent,” said Megan Allen, Senior Vice President of Product at ZipRecruiter. “We’ve made it faster and easier to source the most qualified candidates – including those who might not have otherwise applied for a role. Employers can also instantly unlock candidates’ contact info so they can connect with them directly.”

Allen added, “With our new smart search, employers don’t have to use multiple searches of different job titles to find candidates. For example, a search for ‘Customer Support’ now returns qualified candidates for that title and related Customer Success, Call Center Representative, and Customer Service Agent roles.”

With ZipRecruiter’s next-generation Resume Database tool, employers can now:

  • Find the right candidates faster. The new enhanced search experience goes beyond exact phrase matching, expanding search results to include other job titles that are qualified for the role.
  • Focus on the best fit. Employers can also now filter by skill, certification, licenses, years of experience, and even which candidates have recently been looking for work.
  • Unlock candidate contact info. With one-click access to contact info, employers can connect directly with candidates however they prefer.
  • Get real-time alerts for new matching resumes. Employers can sign up for real-time alerts when new qualified talent hits the market.
  • Save time with new organization tools. Employers can recruit for multiple roles at once and manage their process in a new dashboard. They can also save time with the ability to view and download resumes without losing their place in their search.

“ZipRecruiter’s Resume Database is my top choice for finding qualified candidates in the shortest time possible. It surpasses the competition,” said Igor Willians, Lead Recruiter at Butler America. “With a simple search, I get qualified candidates with the certifications we need.”
