Startup Juiecbox — Founded by David Paffenholz and Ishan Gupta, who were just 22 and 19 when they started, the company built PeopleGPT, an AI-powered search engine that goes beyond keywords. Instead, it interprets context across professional profiles, personal websites, and public information to surface the most relevant candidates. Much like a human recruiter, it can infer details that typical search engines miss, ensuring fewer overlooked hires.

Aims to expand capabilities of PeopleGPT

Recently, the San Francisco-based startup announced $36 million in total funding, including a $30 million Series A led by Sequoia Capital.
