Here’s some of the latest HR Tech personnel moves for the industry.
BambooHR®, the industry’s leading cloud-hosted software provider dedicated to powering the strategic evolution of human resources, today announced it has appointed Ryan Packer as Chief Technology Officer. In this newly created role, Packer will unify BambooHR’s technical functions as the organization scales, guide the company as it deploys disruptive new technologies such as AI, and translate technical ideas into business opportunities while leading BambooHR’s best-in-class engineering talent and capabilities.

Prior to joining BambooHR, Ryan spent 12 years at Adobe leading various engineering organizations. As VP of Engineering in Adobe’s Experience Cloud, Ryan was responsible for a number of Adobe products, while leading a globally distributed team responsible for all software development and operations functions.
Workday announced the appointment of Zane Rowe to chief financial officer (CFO), effective June 12, 2023. Rowe will oversee the company’s overall finance and accounting functions, internal audit, and investor relations, and advise on Workday’s business strategy and product development. Workday’s current CFO, Barbara Larson, will be stepping back to spend more time with her family, after a transition period.
Rowe brings more than twenty years of experience scaling and leading fast-growing organizations, including most recently as CFO of VMware, where he oversaw the company’s finance and accounting functions for seven years. Rowe also served as interim CEO of VMware from February 2021 to May 2021. Prior to his time at VMware, Rowe served as CFO at EMC, CFO at United Airlines, and led North America sales for Apple.
PrismHR, the leading HR technology software powering payroll, benefits, and HR for businesses across the U.S., today announced that Jeff Foley has joined the company as Vice President of Product Marketing. Foley brings nearly 30 years of experience to his role, leading a team across the Vensure Employer Solutions portfolio of brands, which includes PrismHR, Namely, Solvo and VensureHR.
Ceridian a global leader in human capital management (HCM), today announced the appointment of Sam Alkharrat as EVP and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), reporting directly into Steve Holdridge, President of Customer and Revenue Operations.
Leading the global revenue organization, Alkharrat will have responsibilities for fostering existing and prospective customer relationships globally in addition to ensuring the efficiency and alignment of revenue-generating operations. As a trusted advisor, he will also nurture relationships with Ceridian’s global and regional systems integrators and other strategic business partners. A critical aspect of his role will be delivering Ceridian’s market-leading Dayforce platform to customers across Ceridian’s global footprint, which includes the Americas, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ).
Alight, Inc., a leading cloud-based human capital and technology services provider, today announced Gregory George has been named Alight’s chief commercial officer for its North America Employer Solutions business. Greg will be responsible for accelerating Alight’s North America growth strategy and leading all aspects of its commercial organization, including sales, strategic accounts, channels and partnerships. He will report to CEO, Stephan Scholl.
