INDIANAPOLIS (December 3, 2019) – – After 15 years with Monster.com, the world’s first public job search website on the Internet, Brent Ferguson has joined WorkHere as vice president of sales, a new position for the fast-growing talent sourcing platform.

WorkHere is unique in the human capital management (HCM) tech space, combining geo-fencing technology to identify hyperlocal job candidates with live SMS chat to engage and convert them into pre-qualified applicants for employers. Over the last 12 months, WorkHere has attracted a growing number of national clients that recognize the need to transform the talent recruiting process, including Bridgestone America, Carvana, Great Clips, Fedex, and Uber.

Howard Bates, founder and CEO of WorkHere, says there is no better person to advance the company’s business model and fuel its accelerating growth than Ferguson. “WorkHere’s solution is resonating with employers and jobseekers as evidenced by our increasingly national clientele. An individual with Brent’s experience building a global brand, driving revenue growth, and running call centers does not come along every day. We expect 2020 to be a breakout year for WorkHere. Brent’s timing in joining our team couldn’t be better, including the fact he’s based in Indianapolis.”

Ferguson held multiple roles within Monster over the course of his career, most recently as vice president, major accounts and media alliances. In this role, he was responsible for a leadership team of nine, oversight of 70 sales representatives and a call center with an annual sales quota of $50 million. Prior to that, he led ecommerce sales across North America and India, achieving 100 percent of his sales quote for seven consecutive years. Additionally, Ferguson held roles within Monster in sales operations, business development, client services, and call center operations, working with customers such as Bank One, Saab and Sprint Canada.
