PORTLAND, OR – In a move to reshape how physicians connect with job opportunities, healthcare recruitment startup Beginly Health announced on Monday its acquisition of ProviderJobs.com. The deal includes the integration of ProviderJobs’ video-first recruitment technology and the appointment of its founder, Brian Forrester, as Beginly’s new Chief Product Officer.
Founded in 2023, Beginly Health has quickly established itself as an innovator in the healthcare hiring space, backed by $3.7 million in pre-seed funding from investors including Village Global and Rogue Women’s Fund. The acquisition of ProviderJobs.com appears designed to accelerate this momentum by adopting a “TikTok-style” approach to job discovery.
The ProviderJobs app differentiates itself by allowing physicians to browse roles through short, recruiter-generated videos rather than static text listings. Users can filter opportunities by key metrics such as salary, location, and specialty, applying with a simple “swipe right” mechanic. Despite being in beta, the app reportedly reached #17 in the Business category on the App Store and attracted over 3,000 users.
“Our motivation here is twofold,” said Stephanie Grein, Co-Founder and CEO of Beginly Health. “First, it’s about integrating the ProviderJobs technology to accelerate our roadmap and enhance the user experience. Second, it’s about growing our core team in a strategic way.”
The strategic team growth centers on Brian Forrester, an industry veteran with multiple exits in the recruitment technology sector. Forrester noted that while several larger companies had expressed interest in acquiring his platform, Beginly offered the best strategic fit.
“As I got to know the team at Beginly, it became clear that we shared the same thesis and our technologies were complementary,” Forrester said.
Both companies are headquartered in Portland, Oregon, which continues to solidify its reputation as a growing hub for healthcare innovation. Beginly declined to disclose the financial terms of the acquisition.
