Does AI Improve Quality of Hire? It’s Not Clear

A ton has been written about how AI improves efficiency, but how much it helps improve the quality of work remains open for discussion.

Research by LinkedIn found that talent acquisition teams can save up to 20% of their work time when they incorporate generative AI into their hiring efforts. As LinkedIn points out, that’s a full workday saved every week.

And, indeed, 70% of TA pros said they expected improved efficiency to be the leading outcome of their efforts with AI. Forty-seven percent use AI to improve their job postings’ effectiveness. However, just a third, 33%, expect AI to help improve the quality of hires.
