To support organizations as they shift to remote work, Lever has made its upgraded Remote Interviewing solution via Zoom available at no charge to all customersMarch 24, 2020 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–To help organizations quickly adapt in response to COVID-19, Lever has made its Remote Interviewing solution available at no charge to all its customers through May 31st, 2020. The solution includes expanded functionality that was released last week in partnership with Zoom.

“We made this decision to help our customers and other organizations adjust to a new reality in light of COVID-19,” said Lever CEO, Sarah Nahm. “That’s how we believe we can do our part.”

Lever, the company transforming the way organizations hire, first launched its Zoom integration in the fall of last year. It was the first of its kind in the recruiting software space, and it streamlined conducting video interviews by enabling scheduling and joining remote interviews directly from within Lever.

The new functionality now fully supports remote interviewing. It was released in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, as many companies began shifting to remote work for the first time. After noting a 50% week-over-week increase in Zoom interviews scheduled in the past month, Lever prioritized new features and fast-tracked their development.

The launch expands Lever’s scheduling functionality and Zoom integration to seamlessly connect interviewers and candidates — no matter where they are — for 1:1 interviews booked with Lever’s self-scheduling tool or for interview panels. Within the first few days of releasing the new functionality, the number of customers using the integration has doubled.

By offering this integration at no cost, Lever is supporting companies as they cope with how to adapt and continue business operations (like interviewing, prioritizing candidate experience, and nurturing talent relationships) in an unprecedented time of newly distributed teams and remote work.

The increase in remote interviews will almost certainly grow, as a recent survey conducted by the Talent Board shows that 58% of companies are scheduling more virtual interviews in response to COVID-19. For Zoom specifically, their daily active user base has expanded by 67% since early January, according to data from Apptopia.

To learn more, organizations can request a demo and receive a full walkthrough of the integration.
