Epicor Launches MeBeBot’s Intelligent Assistant, Providing Real-time Communications and Q&A

Imperative in today’s COVID-19 climate, nearly 4,000 Epicor Global employees can get immediate answers to their HR, IT and operations questions using MeBeBot 

AUSTIN, Texas — APRIL 16, 2020 — Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific software to promote business growth, announced today the launch of MeBeBot’s AI Intelligent Assistant to more than 4,000 global employees in 30 countries.

MeBeBot’s Intelligent Assistant is expected to answer hundreds of employee questions per day for Epicor, a capability needed now more than ever to support remote workers due to COVID-19 related circumstances. MeBeBot will provide their HR, IT and global employee communications teams a new channel for automating answers to frequently asked employee questions as well as providing time-sensitive information and updates, ensuring employees are connected and informed during the global crisis.

MeBeBot’s first order of duty is to answer employee questions such as:

  • Do we have urgent care coverage?
  • What is the phone number for the Employee Assistance Plan?
  • How do I use web conferencing tools?

Epicor Software selected MeBeBot’s solution for its ease of implementation, integration with Microsoft Teams (and in Epicor’s Intranet), and for the ability to update answers to their employee questions, without the need for development assistance. Using MeBeBot’s Admin Portal, AI platform, natural language processed (NLP), and machine-trained intents, the MeBeBot solution was live in weeks. Within 10 days, the global HR and IT experts were able to edit a curated knowledge base of HR and IT content to support employees in many countries.

Given challenges experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, the ability to be agile in how employees can stay connected and informed has been a priority.
