Healthcare workforce platform Carefam has emerged from stealth mode, announcing $14.5 million in funding led by Pitango HealthTech with participation from Emerge.

The company offers a conversational platform that uses specialized AI agents to automate the recruitment and onboarding process for hospitals and care providers. These agents manage candidate outreach, scheduling, and credential screening to reduce administrative delays in hiring. The system is designed to escalate sensitive decisions to human HR staff while handling routine coordination tasks.

Carefam reports 900% growth over the past year and is currently used by hundreds of organizations across acute, long-term, and home care sectors. The company, founded by Matan Hoffmann and Eyal Shulman, plans to use the new capital to expand its operations across the United States.
