PARIS — Global HR consulting firm HR Path has closed a transaction valued at nearly $1 billion, led by private investment firm Ardian, to fuel its next phase of international growth.

Founded in Paris in 2001, HR Path specializes in digital transformation for human resources, offering consulting, software integration, and outsourcing services. The company currently employs roughly 2,600 people across 30 countries and serves more than 3,000 clients.

The $1 billion valuation comes on the heels of a massive growth spurt. Over the last two years, HR Path increased its business by nearly 70%, driven heavily by an aggressive acquisition strategy. The group has completed 57 acquisitions since its founding—22 of which were finalized in the last two years alone.

According to the company, the newly secured funding will be used to scale its international footprint, with a specific focus on expanding operations in the United States, Canada, Germany, the Nordic countries, Australia, and the Middle East.

Additionally, HR Path plans to use the capital to boost its partnerships with major enterprise HR software vendors—including SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dayforce, and UKG—and to scale its “Employer of Record” (EOR) services. EOR solutions allow companies to easily hire and manage legal workforce mobility across international borders without setting up local foreign entities.

The transaction underscores a highly active market for HR technology and consulting as global organizations navigate a wave of digital restructuring, remote international hiring, and the integration of artificial intelligence into the workplace.
