AUSTIN, Texas—-Indeed, a leading global hiring platform and a subsidiary of Recruit Holdings, today introduced Specialist Media Networks to help employers hire for competitive and hard-to-fill roles. With talent shortages across several sectors, including technology and healthcare, the industry-specific networks enable employers to reach more people with specific, in-demand skills. In addition, Indeed has updated how customers can create job ad campaigns for open roles, and expanded integrations with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to help employers hire more efficiently.

“We know that hiring will remain challenging for years. To help, we remain committed to simplifying the hiring process by bringing employers more ways to fill critical roles faster and connect with more people who have the specific skills they need,” said Raj Mukherjee, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Employer at Indeed. “Our new solutions provide employers with more options to target and reach qualified candidates, whether they’re actively job searching or passively open to new opportunities.”

Expanding Reach to Help Hire Hard-to-Fill Roles
Indeed’s Specialist Media Networks are designed to better support employers hiring for hard-to-fill roles. By opting into a network when sponsoring a job on Indeed, employers can reach more skilled professionals in a competitive hiring landscape.

The first Specialist Media Network, Indeed’s Tech Network, distributes an employer’s job ads across more than 50 technology-specific sites, such as WIRED, VentureBeat and Stack Overflow. Combined, these sites see more than 500 million total monthly visitors1, providing additional visibility to an employer’s job ads. Employers using this network to hire are already receiving a significant increase in relevant applications for tech roles–on average, employers using the Tech Network experience a 3.5x rise in relevant applications from skilled candidates2. The Tech Network is currently available in the U.S. and will expand to more markets in the near future. Indeed will also introduce its Healthcare Network soon.

Prioritizing Critical Roles With More Flexibility
Hiring for different roles can carry different challenges. To better support the different needs of employers, Indeed will release several new features to Indeed Ads, where employers create and manage their job ad campaigns. The new features provide more options, including greater control for employers to manage campaigns within an easier experience to navigate. The updated experience also gives employers the flexibility to prioritize critical roles and select the pace at which they wish to manage their budget. This feature will soon be available in the U.S., with plans to expand to more markets in the coming months.

Making Hiring More Efficient
In addition to new solutions to help employers hire for hard-to-fill-roles and optimize their budgets, Indeed continues to streamline hiring through its integrations with over 300 global ATS providers. These integrations help employers save time and ensure consistency by keeping candidate and job data up-to-date. Employers can get started quickly and easily with Indeed’s new Integrations Hub, currently available in the US, with more markets planned in the future.
