More Layoffs at Talent.com

The global slowdown in online job postings is still having devastating effects on the business of job aggregators. Talent.com which already had a round of layoffs earlier this year has apparently let more staff go. A few people on LinkedIn confirmed the news in personal posts.

Will Cooper, a business development rep posted “Just when I thought it was all going so well……..then bang! A massive company restructure here at Talent.com has meant that as of today I’m looking for work.”

Another business development manager Charlie Clough said on his feed: “Unfortunately, I was impacted by the Talent.com layoffs today. I empathize with my colleagues who were also impacted. I also empathize with the leadership at Talent.com that had to make these tough calls.”

According to LinkedIn the company currently has 441 employees. Founded in 2011 the company raised $120 Million in Funding just last year.
