The Evolution of AI in Recruitment

According to Alexander Chukovski, the adoption of AI in recruitment has unfolded in four distinct waves:

AI 1.0 (2014+): Early, rudimentary implementations.AI 2.0 (2017+): Introduction of advanced models like transformers.AI 3.0 (2019+): AutoML that reduced the need for manual model development.AI 4.0 (2022): Large language models (LLMs) and agents that simplify AI usage without extensive data or infrastructure.

This evolution has lowered barriers to AI adoption, making the technology accessible even to smaller HR teams. AI is increasingly used on both sides
