In H2 2026 the username and password authentication process for onboarding will be deprecated and they will need to use IAS to log in.  In this article we will discuss various options to consider when implementing IAS for onboarding.  We will assume that IAS is already enabled for Employee Central.

Implementing IAS is quite simple for an onboarding perspective, a switch is enabled in provisioning and emails need to be adjusted.  All the logic in IAS should be built by an IAS consultant.
