While SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central offers standard CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población) validation, it is limited to format checks — ensuring the identifier is 18 characters long and follows a defined pattern. However, it does not verify whether the embedded details, such as date of birth, gender, or state code, actually align with the employee’s personal data.
In this blog, I demonstrate how to implement a logic-based CURP validation using Business Rules only — no custom development or external integrations required. This configuration-based approach strengthens data quality and helps avoid common issues in government filings, audits, and downstream integrations.
