The solution described in the blogpost (Creation of a flexible Headcount Time Series with … – SAP Community) works perfectly fine, however, has the shortcoming that only one particular “Reporting Key Date”-configuration (e.g. annual Reporting Key Dates for the last 5 years) can be used. With the approach described in this blogpost it is possible to select via radiobuttons which reporting key date configuration should be used. This allows far more flexibility since the report user can simply switch between multiple ‘Reporting Key Dates’ – configurations.
