When an employee is terminated, all the necessary information to terminate the contract will be sent to the payroll system, and any other stakeholders will be informed. Standard offboarding will be triggered immediately once the termination is approved in Employee Central. But what happens if the person who resigned is a talent? Typically, organizations try to retain talent, and if the negotiation is successful, HR needs to proceed with the manual cancellation of the termination event and offboarding. It’s also necessary to check if the termination has already been replicated in the payroll system and to remove the termination of the contract. In this blog, written with @BarbaraSerio ,there is an alternative solution to use offboarding as a pre-termination process.
