TEL AVIV & NEW YORK — Human resources management platform HiBob announced Tuesday that it has secured $166 million in a new financing round led by Salesforce, with continued participation from existing investor Farallon Capital Management.
The funding round values the HR technology provider at $3.2 billion, up from a $2.7 billion valuation recorded during its previous funding round. The latest transaction brings HiBob’s total capital raised to roughly $700 million since its inception.
Expanding into AI and “Organizational Intelligence”
HiBob, known for its core human resources information system (HRIS) platform “Bob,” plans to deploy the capital to accelerate its AI-driven capabilities. According to the company, the investment represents a strategic shift from traditional HR workflow management toward providing a centralized “organizational intelligence layer” for mid-sized and global enterprises.
The platform aims to integrate workforce data deeper into day-to-day operations and emerging AI agent architectures, allowing businesses to leverage live employee context for broader operational planning, automation, and decision-making.
Growth and Market Position
Founded in 2015 by CEO Ronni Zehavi and CTO Israel David, HiBob provides modern HR software spanning core HR, payroll, benefits, workforce planning, and performance management. The company currently employs roughly 400 people across offices in the United States, Israel, Europe, and Australia, serving multi-national and mid-market organizations.
The partnership with Salesforce underscores increasing interest from major enterprise software providers in connecting customer relationship and enterprise workflow ecosystems with comprehensive employee data and AI-assisted workforce tools.
